Abana translates to “Our Fathers”, paying homage to the deep roots and origins of wild Arabica coffee, indigenous to this region of Ethiopia. Located in South- western Ethiopia in the heart of the Oromia region, this old growth highland forest is the perfect environment for coffee to thrive. These rolling hills are alive with dozens of animal species and several water sources including a natural spring at 2100 meters. - Abana Coffee

The Sulladjah beans come to us from Abana Estate, a farm near the town of Gera in the woreda of the same name within the Oromia region. The farm dedicates itself to the community it serves, and much of its profits go towards funding primary education and medical services for the residents of the nearby town. The coffee presents an incredibly wide range of flavors for a washed bean. There is a wonderful balance of both citric and apple acidity, dark, honeyed chocolate sweetness, baking spices, and subtle aromatics. - Boomtown

All Boomtown Coffee® is 100% natural, free of artificial flavors or additives.  All of our tasting notes are a result of a standard SCA cupping guided by a certified Q-grader.  Flavors found in home-brewed coffee are subject to individual taste and brew method.
