Diego Guardia, owner and operator of Hacienda Sonora, likes to joke that every small farmer that brings their crop to a processing station thinks they have one of the best coffees yet.  We haven’t tried them all, but we like to think we found one of the farmers that might have been close to the truth.  The father-and-son team of Juan Rafael and Ronald Monge have cultivated a geisha that offers a superbly well-balanced cup combining a silky, round body with delicate and complex flavors.  A base of berries, citrus, and vanilla is accented by a happy dance of herbs and flora.  - Boomtown
