Brothers Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo founded Daye Bensa, a coffee grower in Ethiopia, in 2006. Daye Bensa exports beans from their farm, located in Shantawene Village, and from outgrowers in Shan- tawene, Karamo & Bombe.The company also owns 15 washing stations across three districts that handle the coffee they export. All farms are certified organic and C.A.F.E. Practices and are working on additional certifications. -InterAmerican
The Shantawene natural, from the mill bearing the same name, is another incredible offering from Sidamo, and the next chapter in our love affair with the region. The cup strikes a delicate balance between tart fruits and sweet chocolate and cream, with more than a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, and graham cracker.
