The Sidamo Rophi is yet another great bean from one of our favorite growing regions.  Hand-sorted for ripeness and dried on raised beds in the sun for three weeks with cherry intact, it goes through the careful natural processing that we here at Boomtown have come to expect and admire for coffees from this area.  If you enjoy the Sidamo Ardi but are looking for something a little different, this coffee will not disappoint.

If you are at all familiar with the Ardi, you probably already know that the naturally processed heirloom beans of the Sidamo region are capable of producing bold, fruity sugars in the cup.  The Rophi delivers a similar profile, but where the Ardi delivers sweet citrus and flora, the Rophi features notes of mango, pineapple, and tart berries, rounded out by a honeyed herbal complex.  It’s an incredibly easy cup to drink from a drip brewer, but for a sugary-sweet afternoon refresher, we recommend trying it as an iced pourover. - Boomtown
