Happy Holidays — Tons of News!
The chestnuts are roasting, the snow is falling, and the coffee is brewing (only two out of those three are probably true in Houston). We’ve got a ton of stuff to announce—new coffees, new packaging, a new trade-in program with reusable jars, and a ton of new merch!
Milk and cookies and coffee and beard oil.
We haven’t talked to the guy, but if we were Santa we would like to think that in addition to milk and cookies, a big cup of jo would be nice once every few chimneys. Our holiday blend is graham cracker, caramel, and chocolatey goodness, good for cozy nights around the fireplace spending time with family. Or with Netflix (Disney+?)—no judgment zone.
The specialty coffee coming out of Uganda has been blossoming—it's too good not to share.
This coffee, from the Bukalasi (translated to "the area of landslide") region of Uganda, is both sweet and savory for a truly unique flavor profile. We taste brown sugar, clove, dark chocolate, green apple, and an herb-like aftertaste. Sounds like an adventure? Available in the shop!
We've got a brand new look just in time for the holidays!
We’ve been working on these for a long time. Way too long. We don’t want to even think about all of the time we’ve spent on Pinterest, scribbling on white boards, and cutting out prototypes. But we really wanted to get it right, and we think we’ve made a really fun package here. It’s been a super illuminating journey and has had us re-evaluating how we think about Boomtown as a brand, what’s important to us when it comes to coffee packaging, and how we can convey the wonder we have with coffee all the way to the shelf.

We're introducing 20oz jars of Spindletop, Beachside, Streetcar, and Sonora in our new trade-in program. For a $5 buy-in fee plus the cost of the coffee, take home a jar of the good stuff. When you're done, bring back the jar. We'll take it to get washed, and you can buy a new jar—we'll waive the buy-in fee!
